Our Policies: 

Hotel James is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us.
An advanced payment of one-night stay plus tax is taken upon reservation. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 7 (seven) days* prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than seven (7) days* notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your stay. If we can re-book your room(s), a full or partial refund may be made less applicable processing fees.

Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. *A 30 day cancellation notice is required on multiple room bookings, whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events, i.e. graduations, etc.

When making reservations, please include the name(s) of ALL people who will be staying in the room(s).

You may be required to provide management additional information when booking a room for security reasons. Management holds the right to require a copy of a valid drivers license and credit card on file in order to secure the room. If this information is not provided, management WILL cancel the reservation.

There is a fully refundable $200.00 spa deposit for the Zinfandel room. This deposit will be refunded to the card on file on the day of check out once it has been confirmed the spa is in the same condition as check in.

 If arriving prior to check in time, please call to make arrangements.

Check-out: 11:00 AM. A late check out charge of $40 will be applied after 11:15 if a late check out is not arranged prior to check out.

Absolutely No Smoking inside; however designated outdoor smoking areas are available. No smoking within 25ft of front door. Hotel James is a drug free facility. If smoking indoor policy and or drug use policy is violated, there will be a $250.00 charge added to the room bill. There is a $15.00 towels replacement fee. Inventory is taken before check in and upon check out.

Pet dogs are welcome in all of our rooms. Guests may bring up to 2 dogs weighing no more than 40 lbs. There is a $25.00/dog charge.
